Accessibility Testing & Specialist Support
Find the barriers. Make the fixes manageable.
Accessibility issues often cross design, content, code, and third-party tools. A scan can point to a problem without explaining how a person experiences it or where the fix belongs. Apgar Digital combines automated and hands-on review with practical development support so a team can move from a finding to a tested change.
Test the journeys that matter
We review selected pages, templates, and tasks for barriers involving keyboard access, focus, headings, forms, alternative text, contrast, responsive behavior, and assistive technology where appropriate. Findings identify the affected experience and the component or content pattern behind it. We prioritize issues, explain the tradeoffs, and can help implement and retest changes.
Accessibility work needs a defined benchmark and scope. New content, templates, plugins, and integrations can create new barriers after a review. We help build repeatable checks into design, development, and publishing so the team can keep improving the experience.
Add a specialist where a project needs one
We can join an established agency or internal team for a focused audit, a difficult WordPress issue, a release review, an integration, analytics setup, documentation, or ongoing technical coverage. We work within the project's tools and decision process, record what we found, and hand the result back in a form the team can maintain.
How AI helps turn findings into action
For an accessibility engagement, we can configure a project-specific harness around the selected pages, components, design guidance, and automated and manual findings. Wrappers help group repeated barriers and prepare remediation tasks by template or component. That speeds the handoff on a time-sensitive project. People verify the issue in the interface and code, test keyboard and assistive technology behavior where in scope, and retest the fix.
Start with a bounded scope
Tell us which pages or user journeys matter, what standards or internal requirements guide the review, and who will make the changes. We will define the test scope, deliverables, review points, and support needed to resolve findings.

Frequently asked questions
Is an automated accessibility scan enough?
No. Automated tools can find some code and content problems, but they cannot fully judge task completion, context, keyboard behavior, or assistive technology experience. We combine tool findings with hands-on checks appropriate to the scope.
Do you only identify issues, or can you help fix them?
We can provide a prioritized findings report, implementation guidance, and development support. When remediation is included, we retest the affected behavior and document the result.
Does an accessibility review certify legal compliance?
No. A review reports findings for the pages, tasks, tools, and benchmark tested at that time. It cannot establish universal accessibility or replace legal advice.
Can you join an existing agency or project team for a short assignment?
Yes. We can take on a defined specialist task, follow the team's tools and approval process, and return findings, changes, and handoff notes that fit the larger project.
